Middlemen, also entered into phenomenal shape. The frustration of not having the information to make an intelligent decision on which unit I want to pursue/upgrade is causing me to start looking in other directions for a strategy game.Prevalent throughout the current. There’s a wiki page, linked on the developer’s website, but it is woefully outdated/incomplete. After that, your unit choices expand and it’s incredibly frustrating to learn how each unit will perform before you invest time and/or money in leveling it up. Lvls 1-30 are great, unit choices are limited and you understand the strengths of each unit. Most of the alliances are inactive, and there is almost no unit/building information outside of what you see on your screen (which isn’t enough as some units deal more damage to buildings than others, have longer reload times, etc.). That all being said, there is almost no community involvement. I love the concept of this game and I love that there’s no wait timers, which make it better and more fun than CoC. Thank you to the developer and here is a review to say keep up the good work and thanks for supporting the families who have sacrificed so much for our country. How can you not support a developer who supports a cause like that? So. They used proceeds to benefit a charity for the children of fallen soldiers. And this is what compelled me to write a review. I took advantage of the Memorial Day sale. Now, why am I writing this review? The game is definitely fun. If oil generated faster, I’d definitely play more. But, it hasn’t bummed me out completely yet. The one thing I wish was different is rate oil generates. There are plenty of gifts and ways to spend time earning metal. But you can definitely get buy without it. There is obviously an advantage to paying for resources. But, after playing for a couple weeks, I’ve found it to be a pretty fair game. So, at first I thought this game was a pretty decent time sink. do right by the players, the ones who make your corporate numbers people look like geniuses, instead of the greedy insidious beings they truly are. so rethink your conceptualization of what your corporation is promoting. and small packages would sell a heck of a lot faster than the more xpensive ones. even if a player would idiotically want to buy the product. which cannot be done as there is no way to purchase thorium in any package in the store. you must wait on your supplies to build, metal, oil, & thorium. it is demeaning to imply that there are no wait times, when that is simply not true, nor an accurate representation.
this is a definitive letdown to the very idea of the basis for the no build times concept. and how do you xpect the players to be able to stay online, in this game, when we are constantly running out of the precious oil, & can only have a very limited amount of reserves. in addition to the other losses incurred.
it is a random event, but definitely a flaw, as like the other players have stated, a definite downside, as you not only lose any oil spent, & potential booty as well, but you are dunned with a loss, which equates to also losing your xperience points. I too, have had the “check your internet connection” issue happen several times a day. Just offer oil as a possible reward for pvping and tweak the pvp matchmaker system to give more appropriate matches and this game is sure to stay golden. Waiting is very frustrating and gets boring in games like Clash of Clans and other tycoon strategy games, so I'm glad that instant build times are a feature. I LOVE the instant build times for the bases though. Perhaps if oil was a reward in pvp as well as it already is in campaign this would promote more pvp and also offer a more rewarding experience for those players who are more active and fighting. I'm only a rank 10, but I've only been playing for about a day or so, my advice is to make it so that low level players especially can fight against fellow new players, specifically those at a rank +/- 2 ranks or so, because it's frustrating to have to stop playing for a while due to constant repairs being made to your platoon and the cost of oil when you are essentially forced to attack a base you have little to no chance of beating regardless of your strategy. My only criticism would again be on the pvp matchmaking system. Gorgeous graphics and a legitimately fun and rewarding game to play.
